Van Bower Construction Services Ltd was founded in 2010 with a vision to provide industry-leading client experiences in construction management, survey, drafting, and design.

 

The Van Bower management team has a wealth of over 60 years of experience and offers an array of services throughout all phases of construction. Each of our projects are carefully managed and executed to achieve our standards of communication, education, and safety.

 

Our team is committed to providing our clients with the necessary resources and education to allow for full utilization of their assets. Our knowledgeable technicians provide construction management, survey, 3D scanning, and drafting support to clients where in-house resources may not exist.

David Arnott
President

With over 40 years experience working on major highway projects across British Columbia, David brings extensive project management, contract administration, budgeting and quality assurance expertise to help ensure our clients get quality products, on time and on budget.

 

An expert at all aspects of designing, administering and implementing highway construction and engineering projects, David’s strengths lie in construction management, estimating, computer drafting, and utilizing ground-modeling software.

 

His long-list of successfully completed projects include:

Michael Buness
Vice President

Michael brings extensive project management, quality assurance and contract administration experience to help us deliver an exceptional product and service to clients across commercial, industrial, resource, transportation and recreation sectors.

 

Prior to starting Van Bower with David, Michael spent over a decade working on major highway, road and mining projects throughout British Columbia, Alberta,  and Saskatchewan. His expertise includes the proven ability to plan, supervise and implement projects on schedule, on time and within budget.

Scott Harkness
General Manager

Scott is an integral team member who brings over 15 years of experience in the industry. As the Van Bower General Manager, Scott is the primary point of contact for our clients and their ongoing projects. With his keen eye for detail and industry experience, he ensures the scope of each project is clearly communicated to provide the highest level of efficiency.

 

His in-depth expertise and knowledge of management, surveying, 3D scanning, and drafting are a valuable asset to a wide range of projects. Scott utilizes his extensive experience in planning and implementing projects as well as training and mentoring staff.
